Duties

Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed Support the organisation and tidiness of the work site, including waste disposal and storage of tools and equipment Carry out manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials or equipment as directed Prepare work areas for specific tasks, including setting up scaffolding or protective barriers when required Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring or manual handling role is advantageous but not essential Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial setting Reliable, punctual, and willing to undertake physically demanding work Valid relevant certifications or licences (if applicable) are a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 12.49-15.61 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 20 per week
