Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.

Duties

Carry out general labouring tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Assist skilled tradespeople with their duties, providing support in various construction or maintenance projects. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in achieving project goals. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Familiarity with health and safety practices is preferred. A valid driver's licence is a plus but not mandatory.
