As a Labourer supporting a Fire Suppression Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring fire protection systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Working as part of a skilled team, you'll assist with the physical and logistical demands of fire suppression projects--from prepping materials to working on active installation sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Fire Suppression Engineer with installation of sprinkler systems, gas suppression systems, or other fire safety components

- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites

- Prepare work areas by measuring, marking, drilling, or cutting openings

- Help secure pipes, brackets, and fittings under supervision

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE

- Support site cleanup and material disposal after job completion

- Communicate effectively with team members and site managers

Skills & Qualifications

- Basic understanding of hand tools and construction tasks

- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

- Willingness to learn fire safety installation techniques

- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team

- CSCS card (preferred)

- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)

Working Conditions

- Outdoor and indoor construction environments

- May involve working at heights or in confined spaces

- Work requires extensive travel and over night stays

Candidate needs to have the ability to stay away from home 1-5 nights per week.

Pay: From 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
