Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including moving materials and tools.
Load and unload deliveries of building materials, tools, and equipment.
Support skilled workers (e.g. carpenters, bricklayers, electricians) by preparing materials and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Operate basic hand tools and small machinery (if trained).
Follow health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Remove debris, rubbish, and hazardous materials from work sites.
Report any safety hazards or issues to the site supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a labouring or construction role preferred, but not essential.
Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Valid CSCS card (if required for site access).
Full UK driving licence (desirable, but not essential).
