We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The Labourer will play a crucial role in supporting skilled tradespeople and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising tools and materials. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Operate basic machinery and tools as required, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

Previous experience in a labouring role or similar position is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with construction sites or manual labour environments is preferred. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team. Strong physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
