Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our client's team based in Aberdeenshire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Carry out general labouring duties as directed by supervisors Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Operate basic machinery and tools as required, ensuring proper use and maintenance Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
Experience
Forklift Operator License is desirable but not essential Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under minimal supervision Strong physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting heavy items Familiarity with health and safety regulations is preferred A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
Licence/Certification:
Forklift Operator License (preferred)
Work Location: In person
