We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role is essential in maintaining the workflow and supporting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
Duties
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Assist with install fencing, groundworks, hard landscaping, soft landscaping, flagging
Travel to various job sites across the North West with colleagues in company vehicle
Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising work areas.
Support skilled workers by providing tools and materials as needed.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Operate basic machinery under supervision when required.
Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on site.
Skills
Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods in all weather conditions
Experience in landscaping, groundworks, or similar manual labour roles is preferred but not necessary
Excellent teamwork skills, with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction or industrial setting.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. We welcome applications from individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our company while contributing positively to our projects.
Full UK driving licence preferred (use of company vehicle provided for site travel)
Willingness to travel daily to sites around the North West (Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, Lancashire areas)
CSCS card is optional but advantageous
