Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing physical tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progression of job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience working in construction environments. Prior knowledge of tools, safety procedures, and construction processes is highly valued.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including material handling and site organization Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required under supervision Assist with all aspects of construction labouring tasks when necessary, following safety guidelines Perform demolition or removal of existing structures or materials as needed Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and equipment

Qualifications

Prior experience in construction site work or related fields preferred but not required Knowledge of construction management, estimating, inspection, or schematics is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors
