Due to continued growth, DAW Signs & Fit-Outs is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Cabinet Assembler to join our busy production team in Glasgow.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in producing quality results. You'll support our workshop team with cabinet assembly, general labouring duties, and the day-to-day running of our production area.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the assembly of cabinets and joinery units to precise specifications
Support skilled joiners and fabricators with workshop tasks
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Carry out quality checks to ensure a high standard of finish
Prepare and pack completed items for delivery or installation
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and free from hazards
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
Undertake general labouring and material handling duties as required
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a workshop, joinery, or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential
Good practical skills and a willingness to learn new techniques
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to help across different areas when needed
