Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Labourer/Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. This role requires a professional with strong driving skills, great organisational skills, and excellent communication abilities to maintain high standards of service and safety.

Duties

Provide hands-on support to mechanical technicians within the workshop environment Perform pressure washing and general cleaning duties to maintain workshop standards. Assist with paint preparation and occasional painting tasks as required. Carry out deliveries using the company vehicle. Manage goods receipt and dispatch processes, including inventory handling and basic stores operations. Adhere to all health and safety standards during daily operations to minimise risks

Skills

Experience and/or background in a similar role Full, clean UK driving license Forklift license Good Organisational and Planning skills Good interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal Ability to work under pressure and to delivery schedules Attention to detail and accuracy Problem solving skills IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office: Excel, Word Ability to work on own initiative Flexible and motivated Previous inventory experience is advantageous

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
