Job Title: Labourer/Groundworker

Due to an increasing work load an opportunity has arisen for a flexible and enthusiastic groundworker / labourer within our organisation. Appointment initially on a short-term contract with a view to a permanent position within our growing company.

Job Role

A wide and varied role initially based around the installation and repair of drainage systems on commercial and domestic properties but with the opportunity to move into other areas of the business.

Subject to the candidate(s) experience and ability there is an opportunity of regular overtime.

Responsibilities and Duties (Depending on experience role will include)

Ability to work independently yet follow an agreed method of work

Ability to provide a professional, polite and courteous customer facing service

Ensure sites are left in a clean and safe condition at all times

To record and document work activities

Work effectively and cooperatively with others

Skills and Qualification Required:

- Driving licence

- Flexible and positive outlook

- Experience of operating an excavator / dumper would be an advantage but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
