Labourer/Handy Person

Lennoxlove Estate

Based in Haddington, Hamilton and Kinneil Estates run a historic rural estate, including the Grade A listed Lennoxlove House, extensive grounds, and a large portfolio of rental properties and farms.

The majority of maintenance, landscaping and property renovations are dealt with by our inhouse team and we are looking to expand this function.

Due to the broad nature of the work involved, we would consider applications from individuals from a range of technical backgrounds to complement our existing team. At an entry level, we would consider those with a background in labouring and groundworks. However, we would equally consider candidates with an established background in relevant trades, including painting and decorating, carpentry, masonry and general maintenance.

The most important quality we're looking for is candidates should possess a can-do attitude, show willingness to complete a varied workload and work with minimal supervision. We would also expect this person to operate well within a multi discipline team.

A full driving licence is essential for the position and working hours are 39 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 8-5 pm & 8-1 pm on Fridays).

Salary will be based upon experience.
