Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification of various landscapes. This role involves physical labour and teamwork, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Will also include general labour work

Duties

Assist in the installation of plants, trees, and shrubs in various outdoor settings. Prepare soil and planting areas by digging, tilling, and amending as necessary. Maintain landscapes by mowing, trimming, weeding, and applying mulch or fertiliser as required. Operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding specific landscaping projects and tasks. Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals within deadlines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is advantageous but not essential. A strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance is beneficial. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
