Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing painting tasks with precision and care while assisting with various labour duties as required. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring all tools and materials are organised and accounted for. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that arise during projects. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Drive to various job locations as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred but not essential. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. A valid driver's licence is desirable for travelling to job sites. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to painting and general labour tasks. Must have valid CSCS card
