This is a key support role within the Assets and Repairs service area within Housing Services responsible for co-ordinating Manchester City Council's (MCC) landlord compliance functions, through the delivery of an effective and customer focussed administrative support function.
The role holder will be assigned to one of four teams, according to organisational needs - Electrical Compliance and Repair, Mechanical Compliance and Repair, or the Repairs and Maintenance teams and will undertake the associated landlord compliance administrative duties. This post will predominantly be based within the disrepair team due to current demand.

About the Candidate
You will have knowledge of Local Authority Social Housing, and Landlord compliance regulations and procedures with the ability to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role. You must have an understanding of data management, being able to use ICT systems to input, analyse and obtain data with intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint IT systems. You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to organise multiple tasks in the most effective way, allocating time according to task complexity and priority. You will have the skills to be able to proactively develop and maintain effective administrative systems to meet the needs of the service, with the confidence to accurately resolve queries in your area of knowledge.
You will ideally have experience or an understanding of the disrepair protocol, however training will be provided.
