Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces, ensuring functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high end residential gardens which are showstoppers.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software such as AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
Prepare detailed drawings and visualisations to communicate design concepts effectively.
Conduct site analysis, including land surveying and assessment of existing conditions.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Oversee project development from initial concept through construction documentation and implementation phases.
Assist with landscape maintenance planning and horticultural considerations to ensure sustainable design practices.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently through effective project management skills.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards throughout all phases of the project.
Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), SketchUp.
Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques and horticultural principles.
Experience in landscape construction processes and site supervision.
Familiarity with irrigation systems design and implementation.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices for sustainable environment management.
Effective communication skills to present ideas clearly and collaborate with diverse teams.
Organised approach with attention to detail in all aspects of design and documentation.
