Due to expansion, Hertfordshire Drives and Landscapes is on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Landscape Foreman to lead one of our teams in the Hertfordshire area. As the forefront of our field operations, you'll not only deliver exceptional landscaping services but also drive the success of our projects through leadership, expertise, and a commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision:

Direct and oversee a team of landscapers, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Project Execution:

Undertake and supervise a wide range of landscaping tasks including, but not limited to, demolition, construction of hardscape elements (walls, paths, drainage systems, fences, decking), and softscape enhancements (turfing, seeding, planting).

Equipment and Safety Management:

Safely operate and supervise the use of power tools and heavy machinery (mini excavators, dumpers, rollers, etc.), ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed.

Client Interaction:

Act as the point of contact for clients on-site, ensuring all inquiries are handled with professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness.

Team Development:

Contribute to the training and development of team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements:

Proven experience in landscaping with a track record of leading teams. Comprehensive knowledge of construction and soft landscaping techniques. Proficiency in operating a wide range of tools and machinery. A valid driving license is essential, as the role requires driving company vehicles in the Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. A self-starter who is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about landscaping.
