We are an award winning Landscape gardening design and build company. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate landscaper Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an assistant for experienced hard landscapers. This role offers an opportunity to work in an outdoor environment, learning the trade applying knowledge and practical skills to various landscape projects. A strong interest in building and landscape design is essential, along with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Groundwork and site preparation Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Keeping sites and working areas clear and safe Assisting with landscape design implementation and ongoing maintenance tasks Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment Shovelling and wheelbarrowing to move waste or aggregate from one place to another Identifying different types of mortar and concrete mixes and implementing them Collaborating with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines

Requirements

Landscape gardening experience is not essential but a willingness to learn is Ability to work as a team or as an individual Friendly and polite attitude towards clients and other team members Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively A genuine interest in landscape gardening and landscape aesthetics Must be punctual and on time. Working days start at 8:00 in various sites in South Manchester Must be physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 23,000.00-26,437.00 per year
