What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial soft landscaping. Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in supervising or leading teams to deliver quality work safely and on time. CSCS card Full clean UK driving licence (as a company van will be provided)

Desirable:

CPCS/NPORS qualifications (e.g., 360/excavator/telehandler). SSSTS supervisor training and CAT and Genny cable avoidance Preferably an NVQ or equivalent in horticulture or land-based training.

What You'll Do:

As a Landscape Gardener Supervisor, you'll lead teams to deliver exceptional landscapes that are built to last. Your keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, dedication to health & safety and a passion for horticulture will help drive success in every project.

Salary

28,000 - 36,000 pa

Main works include:

Soft landscaping

- Specimen tree planting, staking and guying trees, shrub planting, setting out, turfing, seeding, soil placement, soil preparation, mulching, pruning and plant protection.

Hard landscaping

- Planter construction / install, urban tree pit installation, green wall / trellis systems, timber works, garden features, street furniture, wildlife/ habitat features, geotextile installation, minor groundworks and pathway / surfacing.

To assist the Management Team in scheduling and organising your teams daily works programme. Advise and instruct staff when required on new or improved safe methods of working and ensure all safe working practices are adhered to. The operation of all machinery and tools in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. To ensure that all daily pre-use checks are undertaken on all equipment used by your team. To ensure completion and submission of all job specific paperwork as required. To undertake any such duties appropriate to the post as may be required by the Management team.
