We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to gardening, horticulture, and construction, ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure gardens and outdoor areas remain tidy and healthy.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth.
Use mechanical knowledge to operate machinery including excavators for landscaping projects.
Participate in planting, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs, and trees as part of horticultural duties.
Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscaping, including the building of garden features or pathways.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not essential.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping work.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
