Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Landscaper/ Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a keen interest in building beautiful landscapes. This role revolves around hands-on tasks that are required in the construction of high end outdoor spaces for discerning clients. The Landscape Labourer will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping duties.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks such as mixing mortar, moving materials Digging out and pouring foundations Supporting the landscapers. Carry bricks and mortar to landscaper. Mix concrete and pour foundations, point brickwork and paving, backfill retaining walls. Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Dig holes for bases and foundations, dig trenches, mix concrete and mortar, measure and cut wood, dig out stumps, shovel aggregates, hammer in posts. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Other actions that will be required are: demolition, handling materials, operating tools, cleaning, lifting, counting, measuring, digging, cutting, nailing, fixing, holding, climbing, laying, mixing, barrowing, breaking, planting, pruning.

Experience

Previous experience in landscape construction is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. A strong work ethic with attention to detail is crucial for maintaining high standards of work. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscaping practices.

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour
