Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscape maintenance and gardening. This role involves performing physical tasks in various weather conditions, contributing to the beautification and upkeep of outdoor spaces.

Duties

Carry out landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and planting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants. Use mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Assist with excavation tasks as needed, utilising excavators for larger projects. Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship. Engage in gardening activities, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to horticultural best practices. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly after use.

Qualifications

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural practices will be considered a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks. A strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
