Responsibilities

Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate various power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and efficiently. Use hand tools for planting, trimming, digging, and other landscaping tasks. Assist with construction projects including the installation of features such as pathways, retaining walls, or garden beds. Operate machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping or construction tasks. Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and regular maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants. Conduct general site maintenance to uphold safety standards and environmental quality. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and machinery operation such as excavators. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care principles. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting heavy equipment or materials when necessary. A valid driver's licence is desirable for transporting equipment or travelling between sites. A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
