We are now recruiting an experienced Landscaping & Gardening Supervisor / Manager to support operations, lead teams, and contribute directly to the success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead company landscaping and gardening teams on day-to-day operations and ongoing projects.
Report directly to the Company Director, taking tasks and instructions, and ensuring their effective implementation.
Manage duties and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work.
Drive the company vehicle to different client sites as required.
Conduct site visits for quoting and preparing job estimates.
Communicate and liaise professionally with customers, responding to queries and providing clear updates on work progress.
Prepare and submit weekly operational reports detailing work completed, team performance, and any client feedback.
Carry out gardening and landscaping tasks personally when required, providing a hands-on example for the team.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and best practice in all landscaping activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
Substantial experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
Proven track record of leading and supervising teams effectively.
Strong practical horticultural & landscaping knowledge, with the ability to assess work and pricing accurately.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a professional manner when dealing with customers and staff.
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Full UK driving licence and comfortable driving company vehicles.
Ability to work Monday to Saturday as required for the role.
