We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they meet high standards of appearance and safety. Duties
Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising.
Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators and power tools to assist with construction and landscaping tasks.
Use hand tools for planting, trimming, edging, and other gardening activities.
Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across landscaped areas.
Assist with construction projects involving the installation of features such as patios, pathways, or garden structures.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Ensure all work sites are kept clean, safe, and organised in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications.
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators and power tools is desirable.
Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and construction tasks.
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance.
Strong understanding of plant care, gardening techniques, and general horticultural principles.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
