Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscaper to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for horticulture and gardening, with a strong focus on landscape maintenance and construction. Duties

Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate a variety of power tools such as strimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers efficiently and safely. Use hand tools for planting, edging, and other detailed landscaping tasks. Assist with construction projects such as installing features, pathways, or garden beds using appropriate equipment and techniques. Operate machinery including tractors for larger landscaping tasks or site preparation. Conduct general maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to plan, execute, and complete landscaping projects within specified timeframes. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations.

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in gardening and construction tasks. Strong understanding of gardening practices, plant care, and horticultural principles. Ability to perform physical labour outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety procedures. Basic knowledge of techniques relevant to landscaping projects is advantageous. Full UK driving licence is required NVQ or equivalent within landscaping or similar desirable but not essential
