We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong background in landscape maintenance and care. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with various tools and equipment, ensuring that all landscaping projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilization Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment like excavators for various landscaping projects Assist in hardscape installations including patios, walkways, and retaining walls Provide tree care services including tree trimming and removal as needed Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Maintain equipment in good working order through regular maintenance checks

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using various landscaping tools and machinery Proven skills in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and tree care Familiarity with construction techniques related to landscaping projects Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively Experience with hardscape installation is preferred Knowledge of irrigation systems is an asset Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory
