Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Landscaper/groundworker This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of horticultural knowledge, mechanical skills, and experience with various tools and machinery used in landscape maintenance and construction.

Duties

Must be able to lay tarmac block paving slabs etc Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators to carry out landscaping projects. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage for gardens and landscapes. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist in construction projects related to landscaping, including the installation of pathways, patios, and garden features and driveways Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping designs that meet client specifications Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Must be 25 or over 25 with a full drivers licence experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and excavators safely. Familiarity with irrigation systems and gardening practices. Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good physical fitness with the capability to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid driving licence may be required for transportation to job sites.
