The Deck Dude (http://www.thedeckdude.co.uk/) is hiring some part time staff looking to be paid for working out! Our landscaping assistants will help do the prep work for decks, pergolas, custom benches, privacy screens and fences; it's physical work but is an essential part of a good project.
In exchange you will work in a relaxed, output focused environment in some cool gardens across London (see below for where we operate). You'll also have the opportunity to learn new skills and earn more money based on your outputs.

applications, and no experience is necessary; however you must be able to lift a 25kg bag of sand onto your shoulder. If you haven't had a physical job before, you'll need to be a physically active person (think CrossFit, parkour, rock climbing, kayaking, loves the gym, rowing, mountain biking, surfing, rugby etc). Let us know in the cover letter section of the application. We're happy to run trial days when available.Your day will include, but is not limited to;
Prepping areas for installation by digging/breaking out materials and bagging up soil and waste Digging holes for trees and fence posts Carrying materials through houses and down the side access Raking areas level Filling skips Using cement mixers
As assistants progress, there will be an opportunity to learn and undertake more technical tasks such as installing.
Hours are 8:15-4.45 with two unpaid 30-minute breaks.
Pay is based on 7.5 hours of work in a day
.Please apply with a CV (doesn't need to be a masterpiece, but we need to see what you have been doing) and what days you are available (if a student for example).
Work is generally within 15-45 minutes' drive of SE15 (Dulwich, Camberwell, Clapham, Battersea, Wandsworth). For work north of the river (Hackney, Dalston, Clerkenwell, Islington), transport from SE15 leaving at 7:40am is available.
