Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of various landscapes, ensuring they remain aesthetically pleasing and healthy. This role requires a combination of physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for gardening and groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

Maintain gardens and landscaped areas by performing regular upkeep tasks such as weeding, pruning, and mulching. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out landscaping tasks. Irrigate plants and lawns as needed, ensuring proper water management for optimal growth. Build and dig as required for planting new flora or creating landscape features. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, and leaf removal. Assist in the installation of new plants, trees, and shrubs to enhance outdoor spaces. Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues that may require attention or treatment. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualifications

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and equipment safely. Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and techniques is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks that require stamina. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to landscaping and horticulture.
