Job Summary
Language Assistant - French
The role of Language Assistant is to practise speaking skills with students of all abilities throughout the school. You will conduct 1-2-1 or small group conversation aiming to build the confidence and fluency of students in the process. You will also support the specific language and MFL department with some administrative duties and the wider modern languages co-curricular programme. Lessons are 45 minutes to which an additional 20% paid time allowance is added to cover preparation time and administration. The postholder will be required to work 2 days per week (15 periods per week) for this academic year at an hourly rate of 25.75 which equates to an actual salary of 14,097 per annum.
