Blackburn, Lancashire (Office-based)

Salary:

28,000 - 40,000 (DOE)

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role



You'll join our in-house development team to work on new and existing web applications. The role suits someone confident across full-stack Laravel development who can contribute to both front-end and back-end work.

What you'll do



Build and maintain applications using Laravel. Develop new features and improve existing functionality. Work on API integrations and resolve technical issues. Take part in testing, code reviews, and deployments. Improve performance, reliability, and security. Work with senior developers on architecture and planning.

What you need



Minimum 3 years' Laravel development experience.

Strong PHP skills and understanding of MVC. Good MySQL knowledge. Experience with REST APIs and Git. Strong problem-solving skills and clean coding habits.

If you don't have at least 3 years of Laravel experience, please don't apply.



Nice to have



Vue.js, React, or another modern front-end framework. Experience with queues, scheduling, caching, and optimisation. Understanding of Linux hosting environments.

Front-End & Back-End Focus



You'll work across the full stack:

Front-end:

Blade templates, UI updates, responsive layouts, and JavaScript framework tasks (if experienced).

Back-end:

Controllers, services, APIs, database design, performance tuning, and scalable application logic.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-40,000.00 per year
