Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader and technically adept claims manager to join our Head Office Large Loss Claims leadership team. This is a fantastic role which will see you lead and manage a team of technical experts to ensure that they continue to have the right support to excel in what they do.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for overseeing large loss financial performance through our Large Loss Teams whilst incorporating technical standards, continuous improvement and guidance and oversight of claims skills resourcing and development which delivers business objectives and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.

Your team will be responsible for handling a portfolio of high value complex and sensitive claims whilst you oversee the largest and most complex claims and provide technical support, providing technical sign off where necessary. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be developing, implementing, and monitoring the effectiveness of Large Loss Claims handling approaches within Head Office and managing MI in order to support accurate performance planning and reporting.

About you

To be successful in the role you\xe2\x80\x99ll have strong injury claims leadership experience with a proven ability to influence effectively at all levels, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have;

  • Experience of presenting technical information
  • Experience training and coaching others effectively
  • Evidence of managing key stakeholders to deliver change and results
  • Experience dealing with high levels of reporting and MI as well as bespoke MI
  • Strong leadership experience
