We are looking for a highly motivated

Laser Etch Operative Nights

to join our world-class team working on a 6-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all components are accurately and consistently marked in accordance with design intent, quality standards, and FIA/UIL regulations. Working within a fast-paced motorsport environment, you will play a key role in maintaining component traceability

Key Responsibilities





Accurately laser etch all metallic components to design specification and quality requirements. Apply label part marking to composite components, ensuring compliance with design, FIA, and UIIL standards. Maintain full traceability within ERP and Lifecheck systems. Ensure accuracy of component identification and record keeping across all manufacturing stages. Work collaboratively with internal teams including Mechanical Inspectors, Production Control, Project Engineers, and Stores. Proactively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput while maintaining accuracy. Uphold company standards, reporting procedures, and Health & Safety policies at all times. Carry out other duties as required in line with the role.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision. Knowledge of both metallic and composite materials. Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems such as IFS, SAP, or similar. Competent with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Calm, confident, and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communicator with a positive, professional, and collaborative approach. Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving team. Results-oriented, decisive, and enthusiastic with a commitment to continuous improvement. Clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety standards.
