The Role

Loading and operating CNC Laser Cutting Machine to cut steel into a variety of forms. Producing materials as detailed in Technical Engineering drawings. Unloading machine and checking parts to ensure all materials produced are meeting high quality standards. Maintaining machine to ensure it is running at maximum efficiency, repairing and ordering parts as required. Altering cutting parameters of machine, adjusting settings according to requirements. Keeping work area clean and tidy, completing general house keeping duties. Understand and adhere to company Health and Safety policies and procedures.

The Person

Previous experience using a laser cutting machine (1+ years). Good work ethic and attitude to problem solving. Forklift experience essential. Mechanically minded. Strong communication skills. Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable.
Evening Shift - Mon-Thu 2:30pm-11:30pm, Fri 11:30am-5:30pm
