Job Description

We are seeking an affable, qualified and experienced Laser Therapist to join our dynamic aesthetics team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about skin health and advanced aesthetic treatments, delivering high-quality laser services tailored to client needs. You'll play a key role in helping clients achieve their treatment goals through safe, effective, and professional treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a range of laser treatments- predominantly hair removal but also including skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, and vascular therapy. Conduct detailed client consultations and skin assessments to determine suitability for laser treatments. Develop customised treatment plans based on individual client concerns and skin types. Maintain detailed and accurate client records in line with GDPR and clinic protocols. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines and ensure all laser equipment is used and maintained according to manufacturer standards. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend suitable skincare products and follow-up services. Keep up to date with the latest laser technology, skin science, and beauty trends through ongoing training and CPD. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming treatment environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent (Level 4 preferred for laser and IPL). Certified in laser/IPL treatments with a recognised training provider. Proven experience (1+ years preferred) in delivering laser therapies in a clinic or spa setting. Strong understanding of different skin types, conditions, and contraindications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Professional, well-groomed appearance and a commitment to client confidentiality.

Desirable:

Core of Knowledge Experience with additional aesthetic treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microneedling, LED therapy). Sales skills with the ability to recommend packages and retail products. First aid certification and knowledge of infection control standards.
