GBA Global Solutions provides 24/7/365 UK national and global coverage from two main control centres and two hubs, focussed on domestic and European aerospace & airside logistics services (branded as 'GBA Skyway'), and global forwarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily operations across Road, Air, and Sea freight modes during the late shift.
• Processing customs formalities including processing export and import declarations, arranging customs clearance.
• Export and import bookings of Freight jobs, liaising with customers, partners, and carriers whilst obtaining freight rates (road/air/sea) and providing quotations.
• Manage group mailboxes and respond in a timely manner.
• Working in conjunction with the Skyways Team and global colleagues, you will uphold operational excellence.

About you

• Demonstrable experience in freight forwarding operations
• Have a good understanding of customs formalities including processing export and import declarations
• Accurate job accounting experience, including the accruing of all costs
• Full, UK Driving License with less than 6 points.
• 5 Year checkable employment history (no gaps in employment above 28 consecutive days)
• Right to work in UK & no disqualifying convictions for working airside
