We have an opportunity for a Cam Lathe Machine Operator to join the team at our site in Mildenhall.

This is a full-time role, working an allocated shift pattern listed

NIGHT

shift below, with a rate of

12.51

per hour.

Shift 1 Wednesday - Saturday & Thursday - Saturday

6.00pm - 6.00am

days.
On this allocated shift pattern, the employee will receive a

47%

shift premium in addition to their hourly rate.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Our ideal candidate will be preferably educated to GCSE standard, level 4 and above and must include Maths and English.

The Role will include

To operate Multi-Spindle Cam Lathes and all ancillary equipment. This will include loading material, making adjustments to the machines and the processing of scrap material. While using an Aqueous cleaning machine, clean, weigh count and pack components. Responding to and rectifying some faults identified by machine control. To maintain and lubricate equipment as necessary. To inspect finished product, record data and complete relevant documentation. To maintain at all times a clean and tidy work area. To carry out testing and sorting of components. Any other duties as maybe required. Training provided Additional duties may apply.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The Cam Lathe Machine Operator will have:

Experience in a manufacturing/engineering background Any milling, turning or drilling experience Any experience in a metal work environment Any experience operating any type of machinery
