Job Responsibilities:
As a Latin and Classics Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and interactive lessons that inspire a love for Latin and Classics among students.
• Planning and implementing a well-structured curriculum that meets the needs of students at various levels of proficiency.
• Utilizing a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Assessing and providing timely feedback on student progress, both in terms of knowledge and skills development.
• Encouraging student participation and fostering a positive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Providing guidance and support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals and nurturing their passion for learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching Latin and Classics at secondary school level.
• A genuine passion for learning and a dedication to inspiring students to explore the wonders of Latin and Classics.
• Strong knowledge of the Latin language, classical literature, and ancient history.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
