Laundry Assistant
Fixed Term until 30 June 2026Part Time, 15 hours per week
Term time
Working Pattern: Monday, Thursday & Friday 2pm - 5pm. Tuesday & Wednesday 3pm - 6pm
Salary - Grade 1 Bar: 23,912 to 24,676 pro rata per annum (successful candidate will commence at 23,912)
You will provide a full laundry service to the Faculty of Leisure & Lifestyle. Your role will include the collecting of dirty laundry from areas within the faculty, laundering all dirty laundry, drying and storing appropriately back in the areas it was collected from. Checking the condition of items and conducting periodic stock checks where required.
To apply for this position, you must have previous cleaning or laundry experience within a busy environment, along with good interpersonal and communication skills. An awareness of health and safety issues would be desirable.
