At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a laundry assistant to work in one of our residential care facilities, Kings Lynn Residential on a part time, 24 hour permanent contract, 12.60 per hour.
The working hours are 07:30am-13:30pm, alternate weekends included.
Kings Lynn residential care home sits on Kettlewell Lane close to the centre of King's Lynn in West Norfolk.

Purpose of Position:
To take joint responsibility with the Manager to ensure that the laundry requirements are undertaken to a high standard.
To ensure that the laundry room is a safe environment for the residents and staff and conforms to the requirements as laid down under the Health and Safety at Work legislation. To maintain a high standard of laundry in accord with Environment Health requirements.
Principal Responsibilities:
In the first instance to advise the Manager of any malfunction of the laundry equipment.
To ensure that sufficient stocks of relevant consumable items are held and that the usage of same is efficient and not wasteful.
Ensure that the storage of all cleaning materials conform to the Home's COSHH policy.
Ensure that you maintain the Environmental Cleaning Schedule and checklist found in the Infection Control and Cleaning File
Participate in staff meetings and in staff training where applicable.
Contribute towards the development of activities and day care programmes for residents in which they can join in and which will enhance their quality of life.
Aid the care staff when they are assisting those residents who wish to take an active part in the laundry of their personal clothing.
