London Living Wage (13.85 per hour)

Hours:

Approximately 22.5 hours per week (5:30pm-10:00pm, rota basis including weekends and bank holidays)

Contract:

fixed-term (Zero Hours Contract)

About the Role




West Ham United is looking for a reliable and hardworking

Laundry Assistant

to join our team at Rush Green Training Ground.


In this essential behind-the-scenes role, you'll be responsible for laundering all training and match kits, as well as kitchen laundry, ensuring everything is ready to the highest standard for the next day's training. Working evenings on a set rota, you'll play a key part in maintaining the smooth running of daily football operations.

Key Responsibilities



Collect, wash, dry, and prepare all training and match kit to a high standard. Ensure all laundry is correctly labelled and organised for the following day. Check that all kit has the correct sponsor and highlight any discrepancies. Report any machinery issues to the Kit Manager promptly. Maintain adequate stock of detergents and conditioners and report when supplies are low. Be flexible with working hours, adapting to changes in the training schedule.

About You



Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Previous laundry or similar experience desirable but not essential.
