Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of all laundry services, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and attention to detail are key qualities for this role.

Duties

Prepare, sort, and launder items including bed linen, towels, and clothing Operate laundry machinery such as washers and dryers in accordance with safety procedures Ensure all laundry is cleaned efficiently and returned to the appropriate areas promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times including machinery Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report shortages or issues Follow health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or contamination Support other housekeeping duties as required to uphold high standards of cleanliness Work around staff by each using the ironing station used to iron garments Receive inbound calls from customers and help the customer as much as possible

Requirements

Previous experience in a laundry or fabric environment is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines diligently Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if necessary A positive attitude and team-oriented approach are essential for success in this role

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
