About Us



Greensleeves is one of the UK's longest established lawn treatment companies; we have been treating lawns for over 25 years.

We are a small locally run business who take pride in offering the highest levels of customer service and attention to detail when carrying out work on customers' lawns.

Due to our continued growth & success we are looking to recruit lawn operatives to start ASAP.



About You



Reliable, well rounded and an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic capable of employing a large degree of common sense.

Fully embrace the concept of and practice of exceptional Customer Service and be proficient in working to a high standard.

Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working in a customer facing role.

Self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative whilst at the same time being a team player.

This role is physically demanding and can involve heavy lifting and handling. Ideally, you will be used to working outdoors in all weathers.

Qualifications/Experience



Any previous experience in a similar role would be a benefit but not essential as full training will be given.

A demonstrable interest in gardening/landscaping, practical/manual work and basic mechanics are also an advantage.

NPTC PA1 & PA6 qualifications would be a significant advantage but are not essential.

Full driver's licence, valid to drive in the UK is essential.

About The Job



The successful candidate will initially work alongside our Lawn Manager visiting a number of domestic lawns on a daily basis and assisting with the application of fertiliser, weed killer and moss control products - also carrying out scarification, aeration and lawn renovation services; this is machine work which can be heavy.

The role will include face to face liaison with customers, dealing with clients' questions and giving advice on the lawn in a professional manner (Initially alongside the Lawn Manager).

Willingness to learn, a strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised are highly desirable qualities.

It is essential that you are presentable and possess good communication skills as this is a customer facing role.

Experience or strong interest in gardening/landscaping, practical/manual work and basic mechanics are also an advantage.

If the candidate shows the above qualities and has expressed a desire to progress, they will receive the additional training required to enable them to work unsupervised including NPTC PA1 and PA6a application of pesticide. They will also be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge regarding lawns & being able to identify most lawn weeds by name and knowing which products work most effectively on them.

A full driver's licence, valid to drive in the UK is essential as eventually, you will be working on your own and will need to drive.

All necessary equipment, uniforms, vehicles and training will be provided.

Bonuses are available for individuals who excel and commission is paid for new business sales.

You will be working in the Enfield and north London area.

Pay commensurate on age and experience.
