You will join us at an exciting time as the Royal Borough continues with its on-going ambitious regeneration programme.

We are seeking a Planning & Highways Lawyer to join us dealing with a varied caseload and providing legal advice, support and representation to the Council

We are looking to recruit a skilled and dynamic Planning and Highways Lawyer with a \'can do\' enabling approach who will join our Planning & Procurement Team and play a vital role in the next stage of our continuous improvement journey.

Utilising skills and experience gained within a similar position (Planning & Procurement) you will have your own varied caseload on matters including planning and highways agreements, advising on CIL, assets of community value, conservation issues, breaches of planning permissions and enforcement notices, and advising at planning committee.

The successful candidate must be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive able to demonstrate experience of all aspects of the law relating to Planning & Highways. We would consider newly qualified applicants who demonstrate that they have relevant experience in local government and a keen interest in Planning law.
