Rossetts Commercials are a Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle dealer situated in the South East. Covering sales through to service, we are a 'one-stop shop' for all commercial vehicle needs. We are dedicated to developing our staff and are passionate about promoting within.

About the role:

To undertake all duties of a commercial vehicle technician by carrying out inspections, repairs, maintenance and installation of components in accordance with experience.

Salary scale dependent on experience. Starting level is 38,656.80 per annum (16.52 per hour)

Training given to the standards and quality of Mercedes-Benz, with a career pathway from Maintenance Technician, through Systems Technician to Diagnostic Technician available.

Working week is 45 hours, Monday to Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturdays paid at overtime.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 06:30 - 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, Saturdays on rota 7:00am - 1:00pm.

About You

Qualified commercial vehicle technician to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience

At least a year's experience as a LCV / Van Technician.

A good team player

Takes responsibility for assigned work and takes pride in working to a high standard

Understanding of Health & Safety standards required in the workshop

Mercedes experience desirable but not essential

MOT Qualification desirable but not essential

Full driving licence required
