Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant to play a central role in shaping how we learn, grow, and perform as an organisation. You'll design and deliver engaging training programmes, manage the corporate induction process, and act as a trusted adviser on L&D policy and professional development.





You'll ensure that learning opportunities are impactful, cost-effective, and aligned with our corporate goals, with responsibility for building strong relationships across the business and with external training providers.



Key responsibilities include:



designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging training programmes, workshops, and corporate induction advising managers and employees on L&D policy and the Further Qualification Fund (FQF) managing the training calendar, coordinating internal and external sessions, and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness promoting and improving the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance learning access and impact building strong relationships with stakeholders to align training with business goals and organisational values supporting corporate initiatives in Health & Wellbeing, Performance, Equality, and wider People & OD projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need:



proven experience in an L&D role, including designing and delivering high-quality training programmes strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage learners at all levels excellent relationship-building skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the organisation creativity in developing learning solutions, including blended and digital learning methods organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes on time a proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to influence, advise, and problem-solve high digital literacy, including experience with e-learning platforms and LMS systems.
