About the role
Booker are looking for a Learning and Development Partner who will be responsible for designing and developing learning content to enable the learning team to partner with key stakeholders to ensure excellent delivery of the People Development agenda, cultivating and reinforcing Booker as A Place to Get On and a Great Place to Work.
You will be responsible for
Unlocking high performance and capability, creating learning interventions where our teams are able to deliver our capability agenda to develop high-performing teams to delight our customers.
Creating high-quality learning resources, including but not limited to: guides, toolkits, eLearning tailored to the People agenda
Translating complex topics into accessible, innovative and impactful learning content
Using authoring tools (such as articulate etc.) to develop high quality and interactive resources
Reviewing and ensuring content is relevant and purposeful and meets branding guidelines
Managing communication and engagement of local stakeholders to ensure they are well informed on our People and Capability Plan.
Championing a consistent and inclusive colleague experience.
+ Supporting the delivery and sustainability of People Plan and core business change programmes.
Being informed on People policies, employment law, experienced and curious about the business and industries we operate in.
Using technology to collaborate on shared accountabilities, leading the way into a digital workplace.
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
You will need

Able to take learning theory and translate into practical solutions
Creating & developing digital learning tools/resources
Detailed understanding of the business/commercial awareness
L&D experience within a similar area, be that internally or externally
Content creation in a sales environment would be beneficial
Building credible and long-lasting relationships
Working with subject matter experts to design/develop relevant and purposeful tools/resources
