Salary: 33-43k per annum (depending on experience) + benefits + car

About the Role

Working as a key part of the learning & development team, you will support and work with the Lead roles to create and deliver learning and development interventions across the enterprise. You'll work within a dynamic learning and development team of practitioners to plan, respond and deliver the needs of the business, acting as an internal learning & development consultant responsible for the design and implementation of learning solutions.


The primary focus of the role is on improving both colleague and leadership performance, skills and capabilities., driving colleague's skills, knowledge, and performance helping to improve colleague engagement and experience through seamless learning solutions and driving down attrition.

Key Responsibilities

Working with the Leads, and the wider L&D team, you will help shape our learning solutions linking benefit and outcomes to our strategic direction and in support of our broader talent strategy, identifying development opportunities for our colleagues across the enterprise. Design and development of learning solutions, responsible for training delivery and adjusting sessions based on feedback Works closely with learners to provide guidance before, during, and after learning. Collaborates with managers and People Business Partners to ensure training meets departmental and organisational needs. Supports integration of digital learning tools and platforms Will work in partnership to design content that is relevant and where applicable work with the broader learning team including third parties, to ensure a blended learning approach such as e-learning, workshops, master classes, action learning and coaching. Cost Management: Ensure learning solutions are cost effective Partnerships: Work effectively with 3rd party partnerships to ensure partners are delivering on service agreements and performance KPIs Data and Reporting: Ensuring key data, measures of success and reporting is in place for solutions assigned. External Networks: build strong external networks to drive innovation and continuous improvement Digital Capabilities: Leverage digital and tech teams to ensure services and solutions are digitally enabled and AI is optimised

Experience, knowledge and expertise required:

Significant relevant experience of operating at a learning practitioner level L&D delivery & creation experience- both face to face and virtual Experience creating and measuring the impact of blended learning solutions Focused on continuous improvement, measuring outcomes based on data, trends, analysis and review

Experience, knowledge and expertise desirable:

Engaging, knowledgeable and passionate in education and training Meticulous in ensuring quality and consistency in delivery of training Strategic in mind set - value to business Clear, articulate and confident communicator - able to engage and influence key stakeholders Qualifications: CIPD/TAP
