Lead Android Engineer - Autonomous Systems - London

The Role:

You'll design and optimise mission-critical networking layers for autonomous systems, solving problems like:

Low-level protocol design (sockets, WebSockets) for unreliable environments Bulletproof offline functionality - think ride-sharing app resilience, but for defence tech Real-time data streaming with strict performance requirements

You're the missing piece if you:

Have 5+ years Android experience (Kotlin/Java) and know Jetpack inside out Live for networking challenges - sync conflicts, spotty connections, and edge cases are your specialty Wanttrue ownership of architecture (no micromanagement, just hard problems to solve) Have battle scars fromhigh-stakes apps (ride-sharing, delivery, or similar is perfect)
